UMC 4 2010 is Coming!
It’s almost that time! UMC 4 fires off on April 11th 2010 and we can’t wait. Southern California’s premier cover band competition, the Ultimate Music Challenge hosted in The DreamCatcher at Viejas will award $40,000.00 in prizes to the top finalist bands. Competition entries will open in early February so check back often for upates and information. You can also follow us on twitter to get the latest info.

Hey guys! Looking forward to UMC this year. One band you won’t be seeing at the UMC, however, is the BAD BLOKES!! (you know, that loud Irish band made up of Clay Colton Band members) But – Good News – you can catch the greatest BAD BLOKES show ever next Wednesday, March 17th at Viejas in the V Lounge from 9p-1a. Come drink, jig, and be green on ST. Patty’s Day!! See you there! Spread the word!

Colleen, i’m sure my buddies will be on top of Ed like before. like i said above i’m no longer with my wife so i might have a date with me, if that is the case then I will be on my best behavior, not heckling as much as last year.

screw cencorship, it’s not really a blog is it?, it’s a comment site monitored by employees of the contest sponsors. not really interesting at this point, it’s more like a socio-political strangulation of free speech and more importantly, free expression of our words and thoughts. What would Keith Richards say about all that? Have another drink and F#*k it baby. Please don’t spoil the moment with a small minded defensive response, just sit back, pour some vodka into your orange soda and relax. I will be at some of the shows to see who’s in need of moral support, a drink or two, or some hands on physical therapy, it’s me ’speciality! And remember, only poodles respond to this crap mate, I wouldn’t bother……..
PS, when will Viejas get it together and get the band names up??? klast year it was a night or two before the show!!! C’MON PEOPLE!!

yeah i’m not gonna be sick this year, i was sick all winter. no idea what happened to me. i haven’t been sick in over 5 years. it was crazy.

You just don’t argue with Keith, it only annoys the pig. It is quite interesting to see some So-Cal heavyweights jumping into the UMC this year, I have my picks for the finals already, well… there are still some slots to fill, so we’ll see. I wonder if anybody has the sackage to call on me to fill as a judge? I am very capable of some love and tenderness towards my fellow musicians, as well as a Simon like roasting if called for. Keith NEVER pulls punches!
Hey Keith– how can you have picks for winners if they haven’t posted the contestants?? Do YOU know something WE dont know??? If you do, spill it!! I personally am sitting on the edge of my seat–anxious to hear who they are!!!
Renee– the bands are posted. Some good bands! Should make for an interesting season! Go to the “dates” on the umc4 home web page. Like Keith said there are still a couple of empty slots but pretty much full. More metal this year seems to me.
